Hop-on, hop-off

There is a funny story behind this page. When I was in Valencia I took this hop-on hop-off bus on the second day of the trip. It was expensive, but worth it. I saw some nice places. There were some older german tourists who where asking: "Is this the hiphop-bus?" Yeah, right! :) I am still laughing! So funny!

All boy

A few weeks ago I made this page with some pretty paper from Echo Park. I love the white embossed background! For this page I used a lot of buttons. Buttons aren`t that popular at the moment, but I quite like the look here!

Just A Walk In The Park

More "Spencers" and more pictures from the vacation in Valencia. I just love this park in Valencia. The park is actually a river bed. In the 1960s the Turia River was diverted after severe flooding. The old river bed is now the Turia gardens, which contain playgrounds, a fountain and sport fields. This page is a scraplift after a page by Lisa Dickinson.

Lets Go For A Boat Trip

Yes, I did it again! I scrapbooked another page with pictures from my recent vacation in Valencia and I love this page! In fact I love the kit "Spencers" with its cool summer colours and yes I do need more aquacoloured washitape from Glitz! I lifted a page by Shimelle and I love all the patterns, tiny cameras and stars on it! Oh and yes, I really would love to go for a boat trip to Mallorca, love this spanish island! I was there once and it was so beautiful there!

Modern Architecture

Love the modern architecture in the "Jardin del Turia" in Valencia. Its so futuristic and you feel like in a Star Wars film set! The colour of the water is fantastic and the white buildings are really huge. I lifted a page from Shimelle, I love to use more than one picture and 3 photos are just perfect! The papers and embellishments are from the Studio Calico's Scrapbook Kit for April. Love the cute cameras and the tiny stars!

Hotel Neptuno

This hotel is really cool, its near the beach in Valencia! Next time when visiting Valencia we have to stay at that place for sure! Love the modern look of the building. I made this page for the second NSD-challenge at 2peas with the scrapbook kit "Spencers" from Studio Calico. I had to use 5 tools. Ok, here you go: sewingmachine, bigshot, trimmers, scissors, embossingtool, and punch! I love the look of the white embossing together with the black stamping. For this layout I used only scraps. So its definitely a real scrapbookpage! *lol*

Streetart in Granada

My husband  is a scientist and was at a climate change conference in Granada, Spain last year. He took some pictures with his small camera and I quite liked these four photos from a Graffiti in the streets of Granada, so I had to make a fancy page. I used some papers from the "Brothers" mini theme by Echo Park. I like the colours and patterns though. I love grid designs and actually I was inspired by a page which was posted a few days ago at the Basic Grey Blog.

Making-of-Monday #2

Remember the page I made a few days ago? Its a scraplift and you can see the original page by Kelly Noel over at Basic Grey. I love sprinklers from october afternoon, I have 3 colours (from the rocket age collection), its nearly impossible for me to buy them in norway, I can buy all sorts of distress inks from Tim Holtz and Tattered Angels, but I cannot buy sprinklers or Mr Hueys from Studio Calico here...maybe its because they do not look distressed at all? I could use sprinklers or Mr Hueys on every single page...but you have to work carefully...its not that easy as it seems. When you try this for the first time, test it first on a sheet of scrappaper. Good luck and now of to work!

Happy Inter(national) Scrapbook Day!

Today I really want to scrap, but its saturday and that means family time! But its ok though, I have plenty of time next week! I am not a stay-at-home-mum but a working-mum. I do not work 100% (lucky me!), so in the mornings I have some time for myself! I will scrap next week and will try all these wonderful challenges. I found a few at 2peas and Studio Calico! I love challenges, they are perfect for me!
But back to my recent page! I took some instagrampics from the boys and lifted a layout by Kelly Noel over at Basic Grey! Love the new and modern look of Basic Grey lately.
The page came quick together and the "Brothers" minicollection from Echo Park is just perfect for pics with boys!

Der Dirigent

I made this fun page with the Scrapbook Kit "Spencers" from Studio Calico. I love this sculpture in the "Jardin del Turia" in Valencia. I called it "Der Dirigent" the german name for conductor. Actually I do not know how this sculpture is called in Valencia...there was no sign. But it was fun taking picutures of it.
