Cardmaking [Cute Cards]

I am into Copics lately and made some cute cards with some older Lawn Fawn and Paper Smooches stamps. I love to color these cute stamps. I used some papers from older card kits by Studio Calico. Love these card kits. I lifted some of the cards. You can see the original ones over at the Pinterest Boards by Lawn Fawn.

I made more cards at the stempelscrapmesse in Lillestrøm last weekend, so stay tuned! Have a nice day!

Cardmaking [Interactive Spinning Cards, Shaker Card]

Hei and welcome back! I am addicted to Lawn Fawn videos lately and I had to make some fun cards with the Poet Society Card kit.

The first two cards are interactive spinning cards. I used some paper from the kit and stamps from the Rocket stamp set and from an older stamp set by October Afternoon. I just love rockets and robots.

The last card is a shaker card, it is my first one I have ever made. I just love the special look of shaker cards and I will definitely make more! These cards are so fun!

Do you like interactive cards! I just love them! Have a nice weekend!

Happy Scrappy Friends Blog Hop [September]

Viel Spass!

Scrap Your Kit - Sandlot [Sacre Coeur, Mont Martre]

I have seen a lot of european capitols the last years, but Paris is one of my favorite cities so far. I love the Parisians and their lifestyle. We visited Mont Martre two times at our last trip to Paris and on the second visit we found this cute restaurant "La Maison Rose" near the Sacre Coeur. The food was really delicious.

The Sacre Coeur or Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Paris is a roman catholic church and located at the highest point of the city.

Both scrapbook layouts are made with the scrapbook kit "Sandlot" by Studio Calico and I especially love the black and white patterned paper in the second layout.

Do not forget the Happy Scrappy Friends blog hop tomorrow! Have a nice and happy day!

Scrap Your Kit - Sandlot [Ferris Wheel In Paris, Lovelocks]

I made more pages with the Sandlot Scrapbook kit and PL kit by Studio Calico. It seems that every important city has a big ferry wheel these days. This one is in Paris near the Louvre Museum.

The lovelocks in Paris are a touristical attraction, but there are a few people who do not like this sort of tradition. I had to take a picture of the sign "Make love not locks". Very funny indeed.

Mini Book [Hello Stavanger]

Last week I was for a couple of days in Stavanger. I visited a good friend of mine, who moved from Oslo to Stavanger a few months ago. The weather was not the best, it rained and poured at the first day, but we managed to go to Stavanger city to make some pictures from the port and the so called colorful street (Øvre Holmegate) in Stavanger. All the buildings in this street have been painted in fresh colors. All the houses along the street were painted in different hues, in accordance with a colour scheme suggested by the artist Craig Flannagan. As you wander along Øvre Holmegate, you will find many exciting shops and charming café's. We had a short coffee break at the café Sjokoladepiken (Chocolate Girl). The pralines and cakes are handmade and really delicious.

On my second and last day in Stavanger we have been at three differents places and to the beach. First we visited an old black cave (Svarthålå). It is just a small cave, which was populated 6000 years ago by a group of hunters. Then we headed to a place called "Sverd i Fjell". Swords in Rock is a monument at Hafrsfjord. It was here Harals Hårfagre fought a battle that united Norway into one kingdom in 872 AD. The monument represents peace, unity and freedom. The Vikings swords´ hilts are modelled on swords found in various parts of the country. The monument was made by Friz Røed (1982-2002) and unveiled by King Olav in 1983. The last touristical attraction were some bronze age rock carvings at Fluberget Revheim. After that we went to a wonderful beach near Stavanger.

All in all it was a really nice trip. I made this mini book after a workshop by Marcy Penner. I used the digital files and scrapbook add on "Jet" by Studio Calico for this mini book.

Scrap Your Kit - Sandlot [Be Cool, 7 Jahre 2. Klasse]

It is fall in Norway and my kids are back at school. The big one is in 4th grade and the small one is a 2nd grader. They both love to go to school, so I decided to take some pictures of them on their first schoolday and scrapped some pages about the two boys.
The sandlot scrapbook and PL kit by Studio Calilco are actually perfect for "Back To School" pictures and I made two 12x12 scrapbook layouts and put some additional photos in a divided 12x6 page protector with some PL cards. I do not have an extra PL album but I use the PL cards and embellishments for some fun pages like this.

I used some old Little Yellow Bicycle stickers too and I am still upset that this company does not have new and fun collections anymore. What actually happened to Little Yellow Bicycle?

Scrap Your Kit - Sandlot [Sneak Peek]

It is September already and I want to show you some sneaks. I did not like the Sandlot Scrapbook Kit by Studio Calico lately and I had a hard time to make cool layouts with it. The patterns were too big and the colors too bright, but I did it and in the end I managed to scrap 9 pages with it. Yeah!

You can see the first two pages tomorrow. Have a nice day and happy scrapping!
